Hello, is there a reason its not run at the standard 1800 RPM?
The reason is, that in Europe the standard is 50Hz, thus 1500rpm 😀

There seems to be no centrifugal clutch on this unit. Does the compressor have an unloaded that allows the engine to start more easily? Did the Kubota style engine replace a different engine?

Sure! The engine is 12.5hp Kubota-clone diesel, direct injection. The tractor is 4x2, very simple, but robust and reliable. 6 speed fwd, 2 reverse. Hydraulics for the implements. We sell them for about 4k eur.
